Hello all guys! Welcome back to word.rean.me by Rean Computer 101! Today I show you 7 pro presentation tips in Microsoft PowerPoint to present your slides like a boss!

Step 1: 7 Pro Tricks While Presenting Slideshow

Master these shortcuts during live presentation:

  1. Start Presentation Fast: Press F5 to start from slide 1, or Shift + F5 to start from current slide.
  2. Zoom In On Important Detail: During slideshow, click Magnifying Glass (πŸ”) icon at bottom left corner of screen, then click any table or image to zoom in big!
  3. Hide Mouse Pointer: Press shortcut Ctrl + H so mouse arrow disappears from screen. Press Ctrl + A to show arrow cursor back.
  4. Jump Directly to Slide Number: Type slide number on keyboard (e.g. type 12) and press Enter to jump to slide 12 instantly!
  5. Blackout / Whiteout Screen: Press B key to turn screen black (or W for white) when you want audience to look at you, not the screen. Press any key to resume slide.
  6. Laser Pointer Tool: Hold Ctrl key and Left Click mouse to turn pointer into a glowing red laser pointer beam!
  7. Disable Right-Click Popup Menu: Go to File > Options > Advanced > uncheck Show menu on right mouse click so accidental right clicks don't disrupt your speech!

Step 2: How to Save Presentation as PowerPoint Show (.ppsx)

If you send slides to client or boss and want file to open directly into full screen slideshow:

  1. Open your presentation file.
  2. Click File > Save As (or press F12).
  3. Click Save as type dropdown menu.
  4. Select PowerPoint Show (*.ppsx) format.
  5. Click Save.
  6. When anyone double-clicks .ppsx file, it opens directly into full screen presentation mode without showing PowerPoint edit ribbon!
