Follow these simple steps:
- Click Insert: Go to Insert tab on top ribbon.
- Click Table: Click Table button.
- Select grid size: Drag mouse over grid boxes to pick columns and rows (example: 4 columns x 5 rows).
- Click mouse: Click to insert table into your document!
💡 Super Useful Tips for Tables in Word
Tip 1: Add New Row Fast (Tab)
When your cursor is in last cell (bottom-right cell) of table, just press Tab key on keyboard. Word auto create new row at bottom instantly!
Tip 2: Merge Cells Together
Want to combine multiple cells into 1 big title cell?
Highlight cells $\rightarrow$ right-click $\rightarrow$ select Merge Cells (or go to Layout tab $\rightarrow$ click Merge Cells).
Tip 3: Quick Delete Table
Select whole table by clicking small cross icon ($\bm{+}$) at top-left corner of table, then press Backspace to delete whole table fast!
