1. Click your cursor where you want to insert symbol.
2. Go to Insert tab $\rightarrow$ find Symbols group on far right.
3. Click Symbol $\rightarrow$ select quick symbol or click More Symbols....
4. In Font dropdown, choose (normal text) or Wingdings / Webdings for cool icons!
5. Select symbol $\rightarrow$ click Insert.

SmartArt graphics turn plain text lists into beautiful visual diagrams like flowcharts, organizational charts, process steps, and cycle diagrams.

Step-by-Step for SmartArt:

1. Go to Insert tab $\rightarrow$ click SmartArt in Illustrations group.
2. Pick a category (Process, Cycle, Hierarchy, List) $\rightarrow$ click OK.
3. Click text pane arrow on left side of SmartArt box to type text line by line.
4. Go to SmartArt Design tab $\rightarrow$ click Change Colors or SmartArt Styles to customize colors!

1. Go to Insert tab $\rightarrow$ click WordArt in Text group.
2. Pick a preset text style template.
3. Type your title text inside the box.
4. Select text $\rightarrow$ go to Shape Format tab $\rightarrow$ use Text Fill, Text Outline, and Text Effects (Transform curve/arch) to style your title!
